First Half of the Semester - Online, from 31 March - 5 May, Mondays 17:45 - 19:15 (Dutch time) Zoom link: https://zoom.us/my/borgmann
This course is designed to create a "virtual learning communitiy" of students and lecturers from Breda, Izmir, Porto and Remagen and provide participants with theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the fields of intercultural project management and marketing communication. The course will consist of two parts: an online preparatory course for all and a face-to-face intensive seminar for selected students in Izmir.
The preparatory course will be held online from 31 March to 5 May, with international meetings on Mondays from 17:45 to 19:15 (Dutch time) via Zoom. The online meetings will introduce students to the key concepts and theories in intercultural project management and marketing communication.
The intensive face-to-face seminar will take place in Izmir from 09 to 17 May, and will provide students with hands-on experience in intercultural project management and marketing communication. During the seminar, students will collaborate with peers from different countries/universities and from different academic disciplines to develop a campaign idea for an industry client, focusing on intercultural marketing communication. At the end of the seminar, students will pitch their campaign ideas to the industry client and receive extensive feedback. This process will enable students and lecturers to gain practical experience in working with intercultural teams, managing a project across cultures, and applying marketing communication principles in an intercultural context.
